@joy: yah, that inner fire is very deep as re: our awareness of it, or knowledge of it. for the majority it remains a fantasy, a mystery bcoz it is intangible that even using our intellect is not enough to understand it, or experience it. lord jesus said in the bible to his listeners: "those who have eyes may see, and those who have ears to listen may hear may go to heaven.." which means only those whose who possessed deeper capacity to "see" the inner life, and those who have the capacity to understand that inner life could transcend the limitations of the physical existence, and is similar to heavenly existence. but of course that heavenly existence is another subject matter that we have to really know and understand. and understanding the 360 degrees of the physical and spiritual life means understanding what this "inner fire" really is...

i believe, and i am certain of it, that when we understand the relationships of all areas of existence we will reach also that level when we understand "god" and ourselves. that time we can say we have reached a quiescent mind..whether we like it or not that transcending state will manifest within...and so we will not be searching, crouching in the darkness of existence, the darkest of which is the physical level, where illusion thrives, as the sages described it...

Faith..what is faith? does it mean believing without question? please make it more expanded dear friends...when we say "i have faith in god" i think it means you believe in something you do not understand. it means you accept what you do not deeply understand. if that's the case it willl fall under "believing blindly", or accepting blindly. to dear nara, i would say you are on the right track of things when it comes to using one's latent power. but you ascribe god and man to be separate entity. the question that needs to be given clarity is: that inner fire that brought us to this discussion. however, our existence is both psychological and spiritual. that's why we cannot separate discussing our psychological and physical existence. how to interconnect psycho-spiritual-physical is what i'm trying to maintain. psyche means soul, physical is the gross existence, and the spirit, which is indestructible is yet to be understood.

God has nothing to do with the unhappy or chaotic conditions in this world.  All these are brought about by the negative and destructing thinking by some of our species. The effect of which, may affect many of us. Therefore, it is wrong to blame God. You can pray at any of the world's current organized religious centers, be it Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and so on. The chances are , your prayers will be answered.  How could that be?   Well, all religions practice the laws of belief. When you have faith and belief or the mental acceptance of your desires in your mind, repeating it on a habitual basics, you will be answered accordingly.  Your body is in your mind. You are what you think.  " Whatever you pray for in faith, you will receive ".  :-)

if we limit our studies and analysis to the "Lord Jesus' that christian religion taught us, then, we become discriminative of other religions. if there is a belief that there is only One God, then it contradicts some beliefs that theirs is the only god. actually, that is understandable. majority of believers do not seek the deeper meanings of scriptures. and why can't we? maybe bcoz we are more concerned with what is tangible. these are far easier things to give some thoughts to than diving deeper into our inner lives. in fact it is not easy to know and understand things that are spiritual in nature, so we are contented with what is given to us by our parents, and their parents' parents also. how can we? they are intangible. it is not easy to connect both areas of reality, which, for the majority are mind boggling. but the bible said: seek and you shalll find" however, people ascribe that to be seeking only the material needs. but i say we can seek both, bcoz life is both physical and spiritual. they are not separated like the hand is to your palm...

There are many unexplained things that happen to us and on this earth.. that is the reason why I believe God is real and created us and everything on earth. The reason why we need to keep a Quiescentmind is because when bad things happen to the people we love, that we cannot understand, it can make us wonder if God exits and why he make bad things happen to good people, but if we know the scriptures then we will know the truth, which will helps us to be able to stay sane and can go on. This life is not easy and Jesus told us that but he also promise us he will be with us and bring us through it all. I love your articles Lourdes very interesting facts.
